The 2016 Lincoln MKC in Houston is an excellent compact luxury crossover. It's packed with an abundance of great features that buyers need and want when on the hunt for a capable, fun-to-drive SUV. For 2016, the Lincoln MKC comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine. Delivering 240 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque, the displacement can be outfitted to both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive models. Aside from the base 2.0L turbo, all-wheel-drive models can be equipped with a turbocharged 2.3L four-cylinder engine, delivering 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque. When fitted with this engine, the crossover can achieve an EPA-estimated 21 mpg combined, 18 city and 26 highway, which is impressive for a model in its segment.
In addition to its engine options, the 2016 Lincoln MKC in Houston is available with a variety of new and updated features. Select models are now offered with a Sands/Espresso interior combination and a brand-new power liftgate with hands-free functionality. In the entertainment department, the crossover is now available with the all-new SYNC 3 infotainment system, which is more responsive than the previous system and delivers high-speed performance. The Climate Package also now comes with a windshield wiper de-icer and the Trailer Tow Package has upped the towing capacity to 3,000 pounds, benefiting drivers with boats and recreational vehicles.
