Lincoln MKC Features & Trims

There are four trim and equipment groups available for the 2018 Lincoln MKC, a five-passenger compact luxury SUV. The base level trim model is known as the Premier package and comes standard equipped with contemporary technology features, Lincoln Connect, Bluetooth, two USB ports and satellite radio, along with 18-inch wheels, automatic xenon headlights, rear parking sensors, heated mirrors, keyless ignition and entry, leather upholstery, remote start and dual zone climate control. The other three trims offer progressively more features and additions. Next, the Select trim package offers upgraded leather for the seats and steering wheel, plus auto-dimming lights, power mirrors, and an eight-way power passenger seat. Select options include a panoramic sunroof, navigation system and blind spot warning system. Likewise, the Reserve trim package extends luxury beyond the Select options with ventilated front seats and larger diameter wheels. Finally, the MKC Black Label trim package gives owners unique color choices and adaptive suspension dampers in addition to the many features of the other trim packages.

Mechanical and Powertrain Specs

2018 Lincoln MKC ExteriorFor this model, a 240 horsepower, two-liter four-cylinder engine is standard, giving the luxury SUV 270 pound-feet of torque distributed across a front-wheel drive six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is an option, and, for the Select, Reserve, and Black Label trim editions, the engine may be upgraded to a turbocharged 2.3 liter four-cylinder with a more powerful 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet torque output.

Modern Safety Technology

2018 Lincoln MKC RearThe 2018 Lincoln MKC comes equipped with a variety of advanced safety features. Anti-lock brakes and stability control help ensure a drive maintains control of the vehicle during extreme breaking or when handling limits have been exceeded, such as during extreme weather. Further, passenger safety is increased with front-impact, side, overhead and knee airbags, all designed to protect vehicle occupants from all angles during a collision, rollover, or accident. Seatbelt pretensioners automatically tighten belts to secure passengers and maintain their safe seat positions during collision. Moreover, a standard security system detects unwanted vehicle intrusion, and a device to disable the ignition system prevents engine start-up if a non-manufacturer key is used. Forward collision warning and mitigation are available on the highest trim level packages.
