What's New For the 2019 Lincoln Continental?

The Lincoln Continental celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2019 and the Ford Motor Company has made a series of upgrades to the 2019 Lincoln Continental that are sure to get it noticed. The biggest change is the addition of center opening Coach Doors or Suicide Doors. First featured on the 1961 model, this feature allows back seat passengers to make a classy ingress and egress. On this Coach Door Edition, the wheelbase is 6 inches longer, the roof, rear doors and windows, and passenger compartment are also longer and the interior has been transformed.

This special Lincoln Continental will have class-leading rear legroom, new flow-through center console, 30-way adjustable seats, Revel premium audio system, active noise control, and wireless charging. It will be powered by a 400 horsepower, 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine which delivers 400 pound-feet of torque. It's the Continental top engine available. Special door-sill plates, as well as a custom plaque, will be placed on the rear and inside the vehicle. Only 80 Coach Door Edition Continentals will be produced and each vehicle's unique number will be on the plates.
